GroobyGirls Wins 2021 XBIZ Award for 'Trans Site of the Year'

LOS ANGELES — Trans erotica studio Grooby is celebrating its second-consecutive XBIZ Awards win as "Trans Site of the Year" for its flagship site GroobyGirls.com.

Recipients of the 2021 XBIZ Awards, presented by MyFreeCams, were revealed Thursday, January 14 during a live broadcast on XBIZ.tv.

"Grooby has already positioned itself strategically in 2021," a rep said. "In addition to the 'Trans Site of the Year' win, Creative and Editorial Director Kristel Penn also recently received the XBIZ Exec Award for 'Community Figure of the Year.'"

Grooby Founder Steven Grooby noted the past year has been "dreadfully difficult for production, and the need to keep sites updated has been trying."

"As we have producers worldwide, we were able, with some difficulty, to keep as near-to-normal updates as possible by using producers in different places when it was safe and legal to do so," he said. "I'd like to thank XBIZ for the recognition and we'd like to share this award with the producers and the models who helped us excel during this most frustrating of times. I hope we can look forward to easier and happier times together. Thank you, Alec [Helmy], for keeping XBIZ current and top of things during this year."
